Mornington Chasers
  • How do I sign up?
The winter series is made up of six individual 10k races, run on the first Sunday of each month from October through to March. To sign up to a race, click the register button to be taken to the Krono:Sport site where you can choose which race(s) you'd like to enter and complete registration and payment. Entries are available for individual races, or discounts are available for entering multiple events.
  • Can I enter on the day?
Yes. Entries are available on the day for a £5 surcharge.
  • How will I get my race pack?
Race packs are available for collection from the registration desk from 8am for each event, containing the race bib with chip timing, and a baggage tag. Safety pins are available.
  • Can I choose to run a different race?
Yes. Entries can be transferred to another race in the same series for no charge. Entries cannot be carried over to a future race series. Please contact hello@kronosport.uk to request a transfer
  • Can I enter a team?
Yes. A relay option is available. Choose to split the effort between three friends or colleagues and take one lap of the course each for a total entry fee of £30. Please choose the 'Team relay' option for your chosen event date during registration.
  • Can I get transfer, refund or defer my entry.
As per clause 4 of our Ts & Cs, participants have a 7 day cooling off period to provide a written request to withdraw from an event, so long as it is 10 days or more prior to the event date. Entries can be transferred to another event in the same race series free of charge, but entries cannot be carried over into any future race series. Please contact hello@kronosports.uk for all enquiries
  • How old do I need to be to enter?
Participants must be 16 years old on the day of the event
  • What does affiliated/unaffiliated mean?
Affiliated runners are registered members of UK Athletics
  • How do I get there?
The start line is close to the espresso bar on Chester Road (Postcode: NW1 4NU). The closest tube stations are Regent's Park (Bakerloo), Great Portland Street (Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City), Warren Street (Victoria, Northern) and Baker Street (Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Bakerloo, Jubilee)
  • What if I haven't received my race pack?
Race packs are not sent out ahead of the event. They are available to collect from the registration desk one hour before the start of each race. Please leave plenty of time in case there are queues and come to the registration desk by the coffee shop on Chester Road.
  • Are there toilets on the course?
There are no toilets around the 10k course. Public toilets are available at the Chester Road entrance to Regent's Park and are open from 8am.
  • What if I have a medical issue?
St John's ambulance provide medical support for all of our events. If you feel unwell or are injured, please alert the closest marshal who will be able to get medical attention to you as soon as possible.
  • Will there be water?
Yes, there is one water point available close to the start/finish. The race is 3 laps so water is available every 3km.
  • Do I need to be fast?
Absolutely not! Our races are for everyone. We have a friendly team of marshals around the course to cheer every runner along the way.
  • Can I walk the 10k?
Yes, plenty of people walk our 10k events each year. It's a great way to take in beautiful Regent's Park.
  • Can I wear headphones?
Headphones are permitted for our events, but please be conscious and considerate of other runners and users of the park. It is important that all participants are able to hear any instructions in case of a medical emergency, so noise cancelling headphones are not permitted.
  • Can I run with my dog?
Unfortunately dogs are not permitted in any UK Athletics regulated races
  • Can I run with a buggy?
Yes, running with a buggy is allowed in our 10ks. Please just be mindful of other runners and pedestrians, and remember that it is a 3-lap course so there will be runners of different speeds all across the course.
  • Are the events timed?
Yes. We include chip timing on your race bib which will accurately measure your time from crossing the start line to sprinting over the finish line. Since this is a 3-lap course we will also track each of your lap splits. Finish times will be sent to participants via SMS and email following the race.
  • Will there be race photos?
Yes, photographs will be taken of participants on the day and uploaded to the race website. We will email entrants to let them know once the photos are available.
